Closest thing I've written to an autobiography ...but it's also a tribute to my Mom for keeping the radio on when I was growing up which resulted in me finding my passion.

Music turned me on from the time Momma turned on the radio
It had a hold on me that I knew never was gonna let me go
From that radio speaker came the sweetest harmony
It went straight to my heart and made it beat with the melody

I loved that music
Sweet, sweet music

Never wanted it to end

Never ever, ever wanted there to be an end to those sweet sounds
It sounded like something from heaven
Music fed my heart and soul
I was raised on the radio, raised on the radio

My fav’rite DJ introduced me to all the latest songs
I’d buy those Hit Paraders with the lyrics so I could sing along
I learned those guitar chords and first thing you knew I could play ‘em all
When they came on the radio I’d crank up my amp and nail my parts

I loved that music

Finally got me a radio I could hold in my hands
I’d call that request line and listen all day to my favorite bands
Yea, I’m their biggest fan

Sunday morning Momma tuned in the Gospel hour
Learned to love all kinds of music and felt its amazing power
